James 4:17 And Doing Good

James chapter 4 and verse 17 says this, guys. It says, Therefore, to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is seeing. Hallelujah. Now, hallelujah, Father God. I'm gonna I'm gonna come down right here on James 4, right here, God, if you allow me. On 4 and 17, because I'm gonna I want to talk about how this here applies. Because, truthfully speaking, this right here, this area right here, there's not a Pacific sin listed, right? But it's all about you and yourself. Come on, I want you to listen to me. All about you and yourself. Listen to me. You it says this is right here, it's about you. It says, Therefore, to him that know to do good, so you know what is good, you know what is right, right? You see it, you see it, right? Listen to me, you see it, and you do us not to you, this is for you, to heal the script read any sin. So I want you to know that just to make it real simple for you, Rick just to make it real simple for you. When you are walking down the street and you see somebody homeless, and you got five dollars in your pocket, I don't care if it's your last five dollars because I understand that God a provider of the bread that I need, and you feel it in your heart to give this homeless person this here five dollars, and you do if not, you just see it. If you are somebody, same scenario, God has blessed you, provided for you, you can eat, your family can eat, and you see somebody that needs help, and you got this here five dollars, and you do not give it to them, even though in your heart you feel like you should, and you do if not, you see it. Somebody call you on your phone and they say, such and such, I need help. You know you should do good, you feel it in your heart. Listen to me, this is why you gotta be sensitive to the to the spirit. You gotta be sensitive because sometimes you may have something you may not feel it at all, right? Or or what happened was they'll call you on your phone, and then you you'll get it, and then and then what happened is you'll say no immediately, and then you'll hang that phone call up, and then you'll feel it afterwards. Same scripture applies, James 4 and 17 still applies because you know if to do good and you do if not, right? You didn't call them back on the phone and say, you know what? Never mind, I got you. Come. This is what we talked about on today. I want you to hear this. I want you to hear this because I want you to walk totally whole on today, huh? I told you we're gonna be like Jesus, we're gonna walk like Jesus, we have to start doing Jesus things. We have to start acting like our brother, we have to start acting like the father, we gotta start being his hands and feet and the battle acts. He on this earth within this world. We gotta start doing it because the time is now and the time is running out, and we need to get to step into it. Be mindful, be aware, be understanding of your situation and circumstances that are happening around you when you know to do good, you better do it. Not you should do it, but you better do it, you better do it because you're not worried about yourself in this moment. Because what I'm telling you is you better do good because there's a God behind you bigger than any situation that you could imagine over your life. So you stopping to help somebody. I need somebody, I need that God, I need an example. I need an example. Ain't nothing more kum dad's hoya. The bank, God said the bank. All right, listen, we're gonna go with the bank scenario. God As Your Banker And Backing

You go to an investor, right? They invest you, let's say, two million dollars for your ideal so that you can go forth out into the world and do what you need to be able to do, right? So you go forth not in your own confidence, but you go forth in confidence because you have somebody backing you, right? Same forth is with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is your investor, he has invested his life, his time, and his motivation into you so that you can go out into the world and be who he has called you to be. Come on. And when you need another deposit, you go back to the investor to get more money. The same, you go back to Jesus to get another deposit of what you need to go out and be able to do what God has called you to do. Come on, that a mosina, and that a mo kum dana nabasha, the strength of God is what allows you to be able to do what you do, not yourself, not your own will, but the will of God. Confession That Leads To Cleansing

It says right here, it says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So we got a couple promises going on right here. Glory be to God. It says that if we confess our sins, so this is our action part, it says he is faithful and just to forgive us, so it's telling us what he's going to do, right? Who he is, he is faithful and just to forgive us his action of our sins. And then it says here it is, it says, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So he's gonna do a couple things, he's gonna forgive us, and then he's gonna clean us from all the unrighteousness, but it says we have to confess our sins, he is faithful, right? So we have to confess our sins, we got to confess what we like. Uh-huh. We got to say, God, because sometimes, sometimes we'll get in a space where we're like, that ain't got no hold on me. Right? We'll say, but that ain't got no hold on me because we want to look a certain way. We want to be a certain way. But we have to be strong enough to be like, you know what? I'm a boaster. I'm a boaster, God. Say it, say it, I'm a boaster. Whatever your whatever your thing is, boasting, pride, deceit, you're a liar, you like to lie, you're a murderer, whatever. You gotta be able to confess those things because God said, you know what? If you do these things, right, if you hold an unforgiveness in your heart, say you're an unforgiving person, right? Tell God, be truthful about it, right? Because God says He's gonna be, he is faithful. That means this is what he wants to do, right? He's going to forgive you of the sin. Point blank period, no if, ans, or buts about it. And then he's gonna do something else. He's gonna clean you of all the unrighteousness that that's in there. So what's whatever um attached to that unforgiveness, whatever attached to that boasting, that pride and that jealousy, God says he's gonna clean that, cleanse that, and he's gonna give you the ability to have that unrighteousness, the to move out that unrighteousness out of your life so that you can be a what? A righteous person. A lot of people think you can't get righteous. Oh, but if he's gonna declare it unrighteousness, that must mean mean this unrighteous folk around here. It's some more scripture here say the righteous will make it back into the heaven by the skin of their teeth. So it's some righteous folk around here. Stop listening to the people, listen to the people telling you what you can't cannot be. Alright, yeah, we all fall down. I myself have been a sinner, and I have my days when I still fall. But I tell you, there's not a day that goes by where I ain't trying to have a heart like David. You mean? Because David understood it. If we need to learn anything from the life of David, baby, it's about repentance, and I love when he says, Holy Spirit uh uh Lord, take not thou Holy Spirit from me. Me and uh my wife have purchased us a brand new house. Glory be to God. Yes, we have ourselves a manufactured house, hallelujah. And we thank God and we are blessing God for his holy name, that we have a place to call our own, a place to worship him in his whole totality. Ain't gotta worry about the upstairs neighbors, hallelujah, the next door neighbors, hallelujah. But we can be as loud as we want, as God fingers we want. Hallelujah. We ain't gotta kinda be keeping the music down because we won't wanna be too loud. I never really care though, y'all, especially when I do a podcast like this, like today. Shoot, man. I'm loud as I can be. But God, you have blessed us, Father God, and we thank you for that. We have the opportunity to live in your house. Because it's his house. Everything we get, we give to God. Glory. We are storing his house here on this earth, and we are thankful, we are thankful, family.

Trust In The Lord And Closing

And um, I want you guys to go forth on today and have an amazing day. I want you to have a free field day. And and the highlight of today that I want you to know, and what I want you to understand is this. I want you to understand that God is your backing, God is your banker, God is your investor, God is the one pouring to your spirit. That is your foundation. I need you to hone in on that. I need you to understand that. I need you to go forth with the plans that God has for you and your life. Because if you don't, if you continue to stay stuck, if you continue to stay still, nothing can happen. You gotta be willing to move. Ain't nothing about soon. Ain't nothing about hope that I was. I can't really sing, but I'm gonna try to sing it a little bit. It says, I will trust in the Lord. I will trust in the Lord. So I want you to go and I want you to trust in the Lord on today, okay? I want you to trust in God on today. Alright. I don't know what you got going on or what you're seeing out of this devil for you, but whatever it is, I want you to put it in his hands, and I want you to go forth that knowing that God is backing you.
