If your faith feels strong on good days but shaky when life gets tight, we think the problem might be simpler than you expect: the way we define “blessed.” We start by naming a pattern a lot of us live in, treating God’s goodness like it only counts when it shows up as something material. Yes, God provides in real time, but we push deeper into a steadier Christian mindset: Christ is reality, even when our senses, our bank account, or our timeline tries to argue otherwise. That shift matters for anyone chasing proof instead of peace, or confusing a delay with abandonment.

We also dig into long life, honour, and what “riches and honour” can mean beyond money. We talk honestly about the tension of honouring parents when the story is complicated, and we frame reverence for God as respect and worship, not anxious fear. Along the way, we explore discipline and correction as loving protection, plus practical discernment about timing, stewardship, and why God sometimes keeps us from moving too fast. If you are hungry for Christian encouragement grounded in scripture, this section is packed with anchors for spiritual growth.

Then we move into healing and inner child restoration. We unpack the difference between remembering childhood and revisiting it, signs your inner child is calling for attention, and how the Holy Spirit can become the safe comfort and steady presence you needed earlier in life. We connect self-soothing and emotional regulation to the life of Jesus through solitude, prayer, and rest, and we share tools like breath prayer and journaling to track your healing journey. If any part of this helped you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs it, and leave a review. What’s one line you want to carry into your week?

SPEAKER_01

Hallelujah. Glory. How many of you know that God has been good? How many of you know God is still the all in all? Hallelujah. How many of you know that God still stands? How many of you know that God still has a plan? Huh? How many of you understand that God is still pressing over your life and God is still uh holding on to everything that is you? How many of you know? Do you understand exactly what God is saying and how God is saying it? Hallelujah. God is good. We're gonna get into our get into our uh our season, into our episodes and then continue on with our season eight of healing. Hallelujah, God. God is so good. But before we get into that thing, there's a uh uh uh uh uh uh something that was that was bothering me, and I was trying to I was really trying to figure that thing out and and um I I say God why is it so hard to see when you are blessing you within our lives, and and why is it so hard to figure out where we see you, where we hear you, where we feel you? Come on, why right? So I was I was going into uh um the five senses and I was trying to see like why is it that so I said God why why do we attach uh um your blessing to material things, right? Why do we have to uh um something have to be going for us for us to be blessed, God it have all soy, and and and as I began to think about it, I said I said I went through the scriptures and I found these stories and I said, What is the well why is it so much? So and I and I seen how he dealt with Peter, and and and as he was dealing with Peter, uh-uh-uh-uh-um, he told him to cast his net down. Material, oh shadow, oh yeah, God. Okay, God says, So, God, so I understand. So then God goes and he feeds the 5,000, and they don't have enough fish nor enough bread. But as they begin to feed the people, things begin to happen. Come on, God. Okay, so material. So then I said I went into more and I said, God, he turned the water into wine to bless a wedding party. I said, That's material. So then I dived a little more, and I said, He went and he told uh uh Peter to go down to the to the water and he picked the uh a coin out of the fish's mouth, providing my God providing in real time. And I said that was something physical and material, and I said, Lord, I understand that some things are material, and and and we as as as human beings are wired that way, God. But I said, I said, God, I there has to be more, there has to be more for us to hang on to because these material things, God, they they they fade away and they pass away. But I know this here, Lord. I say, Lord, you never change, you never fade, and you never pass away through every situation, through every circumstance, God, you continue to walk with us day in and day out, in spite of what we may have lost, in spite of what we may have overcame us, God, you have continued to make a way.

Renew Your Mind For God’s Reality

SPEAKER_01

So I'm talking to somebody on this morning, and I want you to understand the power of God and any within, and you have to come within the supernatural with me, you have to come into a higher place with me. That's why the Bible tells us to be renewed and transformed within the mind, because there are things that happen in life that you have to understand and grab within your mind, because your mind will tell you opposite, your mind will tell you something different, and if you aren't grounded into what God has said and what God is doing, if you have not applied to be renewed and transformed within your mind, your old self will transform you and try to keep you what God is trying to bring you out of. But I want to tell somebody on today, I want to tell you that's listening under the sound of my voice that God is still going to do a thing within your life, and I know you don't see it right now, but I'm telling you, you may not see it right now, but I'm telling you it's coming. I'm telling you right now, it's coming. It may not be manifesting itself right now, and you may say, Well, Jeffy, I need it now, I don't need it tomorrow. I need it now. As a matter of fact, I could have used it, I could have used it two weeks ago. Um, but this is the moment I want to tell you to press because I understand what is shipping your reality is what you are seeing within your eyes. But listen here, I want you to understand that there is no pure reality outside of Christ, that there is no pure reality outside of God. So if God is not your reality, if Jesus Christ is not your reality, listen to me. You're going to constantly keep moving through these areas of your life where you are thinking you are blessed and not blessed. Here is Paul being renewed and transformed in the mind in scripture when he says, uh, I know what it is to be up, and I know what it is to be down. That means I understand God in the top of everything, and I understand God in the bottom of everything, and I understand God in between the times. So no more, no matter what is trying to rise up on the inside, no matter what is trying to rise up on the outside, I understand that if anything is faithful within my situation and circumstances, I know that Jesus Christ is faithful. I know that the name of Jesus removes all things, Jesus removes all things, Jesus adds all things, Jesus adds everything that I need. If I ain't nobody name that I can call on, hey, if it ain't nobody name that I can call on, I know that I can call on the name of Jesus, I can call on the name of Jesus. Somebody say Jesus, hallelujah, Jesus, Jesus, King of Kings, Jesus, Lord of Lords, Jesus the glory, Jesus, the Lamb that was slain, Jesus, Jesus, my Lord and Savior, Jesus, my King, Jesus, the one that has watched over me and guided me. Jesus, the one that is glory and most holy, Jesus, the one that walks through all and has gotten through all. I'm talking about Jesus, I'm talking about Jesus, the one that sustains all things, Jesus. Hallelujah, God. There are people, Father God, that are hurting God. They don't see where you are, they don't feel where you are. God, they don't hear where you are, God. God, they can't they can't smell where you are, God. They don't smell fresh fruit, God, they don't smell the fresh vegetation that is growing within the atmosphere, God. Hallelujah, God. But God, I am asking on today, Father, hallelujah. I am asking, God, that you begin, Father God, to reveal yourself, God. That God that you begin to press in on their life, oh God, God, that you show your sustaining power, God, God, that you show that you are above all things, oh God, that it does not matter what they are seeing before their eyes, it does not matter what they have been at, Father, but hallelujah, God, but in the right now of time, God, that you are doing something miraculous within that situation, that you are doing something miraculous within their circumstances in our mouths, that you are doing it, Father, right now, Father, in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah, Father God, that you are causing, Father God, a whirlwind to take place in their life, oh God, that you are causing, hallelujah, God, things to shake up, God, hallelujah, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh God, that you are beginning to be a mixologist, God. I know I went there, Lord, and I most seen that. God, that you are doing the thing right now, Father God, to bring all the things together for their good, God, that you are building upon God, building, Father God, upon the rock within their life, oh God. That Father God, that you are adding to them, Father God, ever the more, God, in this season of their life, oh God. That God, everything that they are lacking, Father God, they are no longer going to lack, Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh God. That everything that they need, God, is beginning to come together, God. Everything that they want, God, is beginning to come together, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh God. That God, you are adding to them, Father God, everything that they have dreamed, God, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh God, Father God, they desire better, God, hallelujah, God. So I know God that you desire better for them, God. Glory be to God, hallelujah. In a my soul and I'm a koye, God. I thank you, Father, on today, God. I thank your father on today, God, because we could not be where we are, Jesus, if it had not been for you, Lord. If you had not been the one, Father God, to stand in the gap for us, God. We would not be in the places that we are right now, God. So, God, I thank you on today, Father God, that you have put yourself, God, you put yourself, God, in the way, Lord, and I thank you for it, God. I thank you for it, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus. I

Long Life Begins With Honor

SPEAKER_01

got one specific topic that I want to talk about on today. Glory be to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Before we get into the teaching on today, I want to get into the power of the life on today. I want to get into the gloriousness of life on today, and I want you to have some weapons, and I want you to understand that nothing is beyond what I'm about to tell you on today. I'm telling you that this is the word of God. I'm telling you that this is the heart of God. I'm telling you on today that this is God's plan, and this is God's desire, and this is God's expectation, and this is what God is planning to do, and this is what God is going to do as it concerns your life. Glory be to God. So if you're under the sound of my voice, I cleanse the atmosphere that's surrounding you in the name of Jesus. Let your ears heal on today. What God has for you, what God feels for you, and what God desires for your life. Exodus chapter 20 and verse 2. God says, honor thy father and thy mother, that they thy days be long upon the earth, which the Lord thy God give us. The first step to life being long, to life being of abundance, is you being able to honor thy mother and thy father. And you may be in a situation where you'll say, Well, Chef, my mama and my daddy ain't been much in my life. And I tell you this. But the way they failed. I'm sorry that the circumstances landed the way they landed. But it does not change the commandment of God. It does not unfolder the commandment of God. So you probably say, Well, how do I show honor for somebody that did me wrong? It is. And the new you begins to come in. I'm telling you, God will do a miraculous thing. And at that point, once that relationship between you and the Lord is given, God will uh uh begin to press on everything that needs to be healed and everything that needs to be sold up and everything that needs to be shown and everything that needs to be uh fixed and everything that needs to be put together. Hallelujah. It's a God thing, it's not a you thing. So the quicker you can remove yourself from the equation, the quicker God can do what needs to be done. I want you to hear what God has to say. God says in Psalms 91 and verse 16, He says, With long life will I satisfy him and shoe him my salvation, living for God, living for his plan, living for his purpose, living for his goodness, living for his greatness, living for his glory, living for God for what he wants and what he desires. Your ability to say, God, I need everything that you're offering, God. I need everything that you got, God. God, I want to live for your purpose. That thy kingdom come, God, as the word says. God, I want to be everything, God. What can I do for you, Lord, on today, Lord? What do you desire from me? Hear the voice of God in Proverbs chapter 3 and 16. What God has to say for your life. Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand, riches and honor. I don't know what you've been told, but I know what God says, and I'm telling you that God is the central authority over our lives, and if God is the central authority over our lives, I'm declaring over your life, Proverbs chapter 3 and 16, that everything that you need, that your days are in your hands, and God has his riches and honors to bestow upon you.

Riches And Honor Beyond Money

SPEAKER_01

So earlier I said, God, I was talking about material. How God, how do I move past the material? How do God how do people see your blessings past the material? Here it is, right here, in real time. Here it is right here in real time. What does riches and honor mean to you beyond a house, beyond a car, beyond money? Right? What are riches and honor to you? If I could be rich and honored in God's wisdom, if I can be rich and honored in God's mercy, if I can be rich and honored in God's glory, if I can be rich and honored in God's goodness, if I can be rich and honored in God's kindness, if I can be rich and honored in God's love, if I can gain all of the characteristics of God, I can be rich and honored. If my mind can be renewed and transformed as he has asked me, I'm rich and I am honored. Glory be to God. I declare Proverbs chapter 9 verse 11. Hear the voice of God, and God says, For by me the days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. God multiply it, multiply the years, God, increase the time, God, increase it, Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, right now, Father. God, as we move closer to you, Father, may you extend our time. Glory be to God. Glory be to God for the work of the Lord.

Reverence For God And Real Correction

SPEAKER_01

Proverbs 10 and 27 says, Hear the voice of God. The fear of the Lord promates days, but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. Ooh, God. I don't know about nobody else. I don't know about nobody else. But I should fear God. And let me articulate this here, fear for you. Because I know there's other ways in the Bible that says God does not give you the spirit of fear. Holy Spirit, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in thy sight. God is indeed our Father. And Jesus is indeed a brother of ours. But what you cannot forget, and what you shall not forget, is that God is exactly that. A God, a God that is deserving to be worshipped, praised, and respected. Let's not forget. That God is king that sits on a throne that's worthy to be worshipped, praised, and respected. So how dare you sin against God. How dare you sin against the kingdom? How dare you disrespect the God? How dare you disrespect the one that gives you life? The one that puts food on your table. How dare you come against his commands that he has ordered you to do. That's a God and a king. See there's this gap. In the old testament, God gave right now correction. You got whooped then. You didn't get weight to get whooped in the old testament. You got whooped then. New testament under Jesus. Woo! A lot of rope. A lot of rope was given. A lot of rope was given. A lot of you gon' hang yourself was given. A lot of separation and ability to be accountable was given. A lot of trust was given. Listen. Listen. This New Testament living. Oh, you got delayed. Example. You did something disrespectful at home. You probably didn't get whooped immediately. You probably got whooped later. Or your mama may have have told you, oh, today I'm finna get you for the older and the new. Come on, somebody. This is what it's gonna be like. Because you're going through life and you're living life and you're not getting immediate correction. But what God is saying at the end of the times and the end of the days, what he's saying is is I'm gonna get you for the older for the new. So if I fear God, one, I'm not gonna participate willingly in sin. Or I'm gonna do everything in my power to live correctly. I'm gonna do everything that's in my power to do as God has commanded me to do. I'm gonna do everything in my power to walk like Jesus walked. My heart be pure. My heart be cleansed. Hallelujah. Glory be to God. Job chapter 5 and 26 Hear God Thou shalt come to thy grave in full age Like as a shark of corn cometh in his season. So I wanna speak to somebody today. And I wanna tell you that you're coming to full age. Stop worrying about what the doctor said and stop worrying about you know everything else that's going on around you. Full age is God's desire for your life. Full age is God's blessing for your life. Full age is what God intends. So I tell every heart problem, my God declared full age. I declare every cancer, my God declared full age. I decree and I declare against every abnormal self of my God declared full age. I declare to every joint pain, back pain, knee pain, foot pain, ankle pain, offrightness, God declared, full age. I decree and I declare to the spirit of infirmity that Jesus declared full age. Full age. Full age, and I'm most so fum in Jesus' name. Come about them in Jesus' name. Come about them. Glory be to God. Genesis chapter 25 and verse 8 here, God here. Abraham gave up the ghost and died in a good old age. An old man and full of eels. Glory be to God. I think about Jesus on the cross. I think about what Jesus said. No one took his life but he gave it up. Then I got Abraham right here doing the same thing. He's giving up the gifts when it's time. So I declare over you the power to control the mindset and understand it. When Jesus says that nobody took his life, I tell you what, nobody would take minds either. No fiend, no, no, no health capability, no person, no uh uh uh uh uh uh of action would take minds either. Declare declare it declare it full age glory be to God The days of my years are three school, years, and tenive by reason of strength that be four school years. I'm telling you that God has a plan for your life. God has a plan for years, God has a plan for strength, God has a plan over your life that surpasses all things, all situations, all circumstances. Jesus has the plan. Isaiah thirty-eight and chapter five. Here it is I have heard the plan. I have seen my tears. Behold, I will add unto my days in fifteen years. God is adding God, adding to every situation, hey that will so you adding adding to adding to constantly God is showing who He is He is the beauty of it, y'all. Glory be to God in Jesus' name. A lot of times we like to hear the words, but I just want you to hear what God has said, not what Jeff desires for your life, to be lone, to live long. But I'm telling you what your God says, what your king has said, use in the name of Jesus. Listen, y'all. Jesus, hallelujah. Jesus, hallelujah. Oh Jesus, hallelujah, God. I seal all that was said, Father. In your name. In Jesus' name. We say amen. So let's get into our teaching today and continue within our series um uh getting through our our healing, okay, on this season. Y'all know this is where we are for this season. Glory be to God. Um let's get into it. There

Healing What You Never Received

SPEAKER_01

comes a time and a moment in every believer's journey when you realize you're not just healing from what happened, you're healing from what didn't happen. The whole you didn't receive. The word you never heard. And yet God in his mercy invites you into a holy word. There's a difference between remembering your childhood and revisiting it. Right? You can remember your childhood all day long, right? Remember how you grew up, remember what happened, what didn't go right, what went right. What revisiting is is actually living in that particular place where you actually go back there mentally, right? You feel like that what happened then is still is still current and present within your life now. And that's just not the case. Right? That is not the case. Right? So you have to be careful and be mindful um when you um you know rehashing out the past thoughts and past memories, okay? How

Holy Spirit As The Safer Parent

SPEAKER_01

the Holy Spirit becomes the safer parent your younger self needed, right? So when we move into relationship with God, right, there are things that you know we we ask God to to to feel, right? When we have certain voids within our life. So we say, God, I need you to be what I didn't have, right? And God being everything that He is, you know, He will encompass and be that nurturing person that you may have needed, right? Or um uh for personal reflection and personal transparency, a brother, right? Maybe you you know somebody that you've uh uh you know uh uh a feeling that you've you know that I carried was always uh wanting a sibling, right? So but God being the Holy Spirit can fill um that void, right? Feel that emptiness, right? And be everything that you desire um for him to be, right? Um he can be that. And so whatever you need within your situation, whatever you need within your circumstances, allow the Holy Spirit to be everything that you need him to be within your life, right? Because he encompasses all things, not just some things, right? So we say, Holy Spirit, you live down on the inside of us, um, you know, guide me, show me, you know, uh um, you know, have that that moment and have that time and have that relationship and and build that pattern with him so that you can have um those particular moments, right? So here some signs your inner child is calling for attention. You shut down, um, overreaction, um um perfectedism and people people pleasing. So if you have these um curtain these uh certain elements we have to be aware of of if these if these things are happening, where are they coming from, right? What's making this uh this that's what's making me upset more than than the a usual person to be upset about a certain thing, right? It's being able to identify that you know what this this this area right here causes me some issue, right? I I have some issue in this area. Holy Spirit, let's work on it together, right? Let's work on it um together. Let's let's get past, let's figure out how we can get past it, right? That's why we have to uh understand the Holy Spirit that lives on the inside of us, right? He is a person, he is a him, right? He is somebody we can talk to and and and live with that lives with us and dwells with us, right? And um if we can if we can grab that and understand that, you know, we can move um move past a lot of the things that try to hold us back, right? Um

Self-Soothing Through Prayer And Rest

SPEAKER_01

let's move into um Um chapter two that says self-soothing. What it really means. Self-soothing is not um self-soothing is not ecopasm. It is the adult version of confronting the child within you with maturity, compassion, and presence. So why did this why did why does this matter? Many adults never learned emotional regulation. Without soothing, we default to cope uh coping mechanisms instead of healing. Jesus modeled self-soothing through solitude, prayer, and rest. So, what does it mean? Um coping mechanisms. Coping mechanicum coping mechanisms are things that we do when things happen to make us forget about something or move past something or think through or think something through, right? So we use alcohol for coping mechanisms, right? We use smoking for coping mechanisms, we use drugs for coping mechanisms, right? Um we may lash out and do certain things um to to somebody as a coping mechanism, right? Because it helps us not feel small. Uh, for example, um, somebody being bullied, right? It's a coping mechanism because they are insufficient. Uh they if they go and mess with somebody else, they can feel like they're sufficient enough, right? They got the room's attention and and all this kind of stuff there, right? That's a that could be a coping mechanism. So we have to understand that we cannot put our our coping mechanisms into nothing but but God, right? What Jesus did soothing, rest, and pair, right? Taking time out, man. Taking time out to have your moments, right? Um, with God. You see how this this is always going back to Jesus. This is always going back to Jesus. Um, and having this moment and this time with the Lord and and having this conversation and having letting God um soak up everything that's hurting you, everything that's bothering you, everything that you think is not right, everything that you want to be better, um, and allowing God to have his have his place within your your life, right? Isaiah chapter 66 and verse 13 says, As a mother comfort uh comforts her child, so will I comfort you, right? Here's what this is what God is saying, right? Um He's telling you, right? Um He's gonna He's gonna be that comforting person that you need, right? There's nothing outside of God that you need Um to be comforted, right? You have that person that you can rely on, right? And that person is the Holy Spirit, right? You can rely on the Holy Spirit, glory. And then Mark chapter 1 and 35 says Jesus withdrew to pray, right? Withdrew to pray, not withdrew to drink, not withdrew to smoke, not withdrew the pot pills, but he withdrew to pray, right? Um he didn't withdraw to go talk to somebody else, he withdrew to pray, right? Uh he withdrew to have a moment in time with the father, right? So we have to do the same. We have to withdraw to have a moment in time with our father, right? That's in heaven, right? To have those moments with Jesus and and have those those times where we sit and we talk and we are getting to a place of understanding as it relates to God, and that's what's uh uh uh beautiful about it all, okay. Um we have to take our time to pray to God, right? And have those moments. Um I'm some practical tools for y'all. Breath of prayer. I belong to you. Glory be to God. Placing a hand on your chest to signal safety, journaling the emotion instead of judging it, okay? Write those down with your little notepad if you got your notepad. Glory be to God. Um see, it's important for us to have that time. And you know what? Journaling, adding journaling to your time, man, is is is is really important because I shouldn't say really important because some people might not journal. What I say is a good tool, okay? It's a good tool for you to be able to to to add to your repertoire of things that you do do um when it comes to your time in prayer, so that you can write down, you know, what w that moment, what you were feeling, what you prayed, and what God said, and what God said in response to that, okay? Um and what God said in response to that so that you can know, listen, this is this is how you've been moving in relationship with God. And and and it's also be a way for you to be able to track your healing, right? How long have you been praying to God before you feel before your feeling came upon you that you know everything was everything was was settled, right? Everything was good. That's here chapter three.

Discipline Rooted In Love

SPEAKER_01

It says self-discipline rooted in love. This is the shift, guys. Discipline is not punishment, discipline is discipleship. It is the loving structure that your inner child needed but didn't receive. And why does this matter? Chaos in childhood often creates chaos in adulthood. Love without structure creates insecurity, structure without love creates fear. Hebrews chapter 12 and verse 6 says the Lord disciplines the ones he loves. Proverbs 3 and 12, the Lord corrects those he delights in. And I like this right here. God giving correction, right? Because we we want to believe God is is is is you know, everything we want to believe that God is everything he wants him to be, right? Everything that we need, everything that we want, right? Which he is. But just like a parent would do with anything else, there is correction, right? So sometimes we have to ask ourselves, when we have been disobedient, when we have been disobedient, when we have not been following directions, when we know that God told us to do something, but we didn't do it, and things about to happen, we have to understand God, is God allowing this to take place because he's giving me correction? Because he wants me to fix this, he wants me to get this right. So when this happens again, I don't repeat the same thing, right? Now we're moving closer into God. Um, God is like, okay, well, I'm finna move, we're finna move into correction, right? Because I don't want you making the same mistakes over and over and over and over again, right? I want you to get it and get through it and let's move on. So you know, this is the true hand of of God. This is true understanding, right? This is when we rise to that to a different a different place within God when we understand and know exactly you know what God is doing and what he's not doing for us, right? And then understanding why this is something that's is not taking place or is taking place within our life, right? Um discipline as protection, not punishment, right? There are times um where we may go through something where we are being disciplined and um it's not punishment, it's actually for our protection, right? So we want to move to a certain place uh at a certain time, but we can't. So we feel like we're being punished. But It's not a punishment, right? God is protecting us from something. God doesn't want us to be in a certain area of our life too soon or too fast, right? We don't want to get to a million dollars and not be able to steward it, right? We don't want to um, you know, um uh have a vision, right? Have an idea that God has placed in us, take it to the wrong person, right? They take the idea, take the vision, and go off and do whatever they're gonna do with it, right? Um and a lot of times we'll have we'll have this thing, we'll like to hide behind. Um we'll say, um, what's for me is for me. What God has for me is for me, right? I I do use that a lot. But there are certain things, right? We have to be able to discern, right? Discern when it's for me, it's for me, and when we are supposed to tell something and not tell something, or do something and not do something at a certain particular time, because we have to be able to discern when God wants us to move, right? When God wants us to do something, when God wants us to speak, right, when God wants us to prophesy into somebody's life, right? We have to get the direction from God, is all that I'm saying. And then when things come up, we'll say, if God led us into a certain point, we'll say, that's what me. What God has me is for me, because I'm not gonna walk into this, right? No problem at all. I'm gonna walk into this. And a lot of times I've noticed here within my later life, um, when God is moving on my behalf, it happens like I seen it, like I just declared it, and it happens quickly, right? It doesn't happen with time, time and delay, it happens right on time, right when it's supposed to, right how it was supposed to. So all of those things are our example, um example of God moving um like he like he said he would, okay. Um practical tools for y'all. Um, future me parenting making decisions that protect tomorrow's version of you, okay? Creating routines that feel nurturing, not restrictive, and using grace as a motivation, not guilt, right? So, what does it mean to use grace as a motivation, right? It's like, man, I know I got God's grace on my life. I'm gonna use it, right? And I'm gonna use it, I'm gonna do right things, right? I'm gonna do what I'm supposed to be doing at all times, every time, okay? Um, not using grace like uh I got God's grace. I messed up, I got God's grace, okay? Because it's like nah, I got God's grace, and I know I'm gonna go into certain situations and I'm gonna go into them with my head held high. I'm gonna go into it with my heart clean, my goodness and my kindness, and I'm gonna go into that situation like God wants me to go into the situation in spite of what the situation may be trying to get me to bring out of myself, that's out of my characteristic, that's out of the new me, out of the new who I'm supposed to be, right? You know, I want to be everything that God sees, right? Because the desire is for God to be proud, right? So God to be happy, and to God to be to be like, oh, that's my son, right? That's my son, that's my son. And we uh we obtain that, right, from being like Jesus, right? Taking on his image, taking on who he is, being like him in every way sense of the word it is to be, right? It's to be like Jesus, right? That should be our walk, that should be our understanding, that should be our um uh um our our point of to be grounded in, right?

Reflection Exercise And Healing Prayer

SPEAKER_01

Right, I'm gonna ask you this before I before we before we go, before I close, and this is important. I want you to take this time to reflect with me. Um it says, um, where is your life, where in your life do you feel do you still feel like a child left alone? What areas of your life do you still feel like a child left alone? Right. So I'm gonna be quiet for a second. I'm gonna ask this question again before I give you time to think about it because I'm gonna keep talking because I want you to think about it right now because I'm gonna do something. So I'm gonna keep talking because I don't want you to think about it right now. This is what I want you to do. I'm gonna give you direction, okay? I'm gonna ask this question again. I'm gonna be quiet for just a couple seconds. And I want you to listen for an age, right? And I want you to think about what happened at that age, right? Right? And then I'm gonna come back. Okay, so let me get it. Let me get the question again. Where in your life do you still feel like a child left alone? I heard a spirit say you don't have an age, you have an age range, right? So you don't really know when it happened, but you know, like I was somewhere near me that age because they want you to use that. Hold on to that. Alright, you got it. Okay, cool. Let's do it. So, you have that time and that space right there, right? You have that moment right there, right? You got that that feeling and that emotion, right? That's pressing on you, right? Here it is.

SPEAKER_02

Won't you say this with me? Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_01

The lives on the inside of me. The whales on the inside of me. I know that you are able. And I know that you are capable, and I know that you are willing.

SPEAKER_02

Holy Spirit, I'm hurting.

SPEAKER_01

Holy Spirit, there are things that happened to me when I was younger that I could not control.

SPEAKER_02

And it has walked with me. It has walked with me.

SPEAKER_01

Holy Spirit, it has given me desires, it has made me react in ways that are not me. Holy Spirit, I don't want to grieve you. I don't want to make you upset. I don't want to make you disappointed. So, God, I'm asking that just go down, deep down. And you were healed that broken me.

SPEAKER_02

It was not your fault what happened to you.

unknown

Come.

SPEAKER_02

Come and stand tall. Stand strong.

SPEAKER_01

Because you are a renewed you, renewed in power, renewed in ability. You can be exactly who God called you to be. And renewed. I want you to have this freedom of life where you are not chained down or barked down or held into a place or a memory. Because God said, I desire. And I just see this right here, right now. I see casting a line like a like a line, you know, into the water. Like fishing. Y'all know real fish, they cast lines far. Y'all know how they be throwing that line. And I just see God throwing a line to you. And if you would just grab onto that hook and allow God to snatch you right out of that situation, right out of that memory, right out of that childhood trauma, right out of that place, and allow God to reel you in and set you on your feet and pick you up and tell you that he's always loved you and he's always cared for you. Glory be to God.

SPEAKER_02

Y'all say it with me right there. Amen. Amen. Glory be to God.

SPEAKER_01

So in my closing statement, it's just as simple as this. Allow the Holy Spirit to be what you need. Allow God to be what you need. Give him everything and set it at his feet. And when he casts that line into the water, to where you're drowning, to where you can't keep your head above, grab that hook and allow him to hook you so they can pull you up and set you on your feet. I love you. But most importantly, God loves you. I see you back here. Same place, same time.
